Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 4 cups of chopped green cabbage
- 1/2 cup of uncooked white rice
- 24 ounces of tomato sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of dried dill
- 1 teaspoon of dried red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. In a large soup pot, heat the olive oil over a medium high heat. Add ground beef, and break up using a spatula. Add salt and pepper to your preference, and cook until browned.
