  • 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
  • 1 chopped onion (fine)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper

  • 4 tbsp of fresh or frozen green peas
  • 1/2 cup of chopped green beans
  • 2 or 3 tbsp of coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tsp of lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pack of Maggi noodles
  • 3/4 tsp of Maggi tastemaker

Substitutions: If you want to omit or substitute any vegetables, it will still make a great soup. You may choose to omit the butter and use margarine or a healthier oil, but the flavor may change slightly. You may also add more garlic or reduce the recipe’s amount depending on your preferences. The same is true for salt and lime juice.

Instructions:

  • In a deep pot or pan, add the butter. Once the butter melts and heats, you’ll add your garlic and continue to sauté on high heat—being mindful of not burning it.
  • Next, add your ginger once the garlic begins to cook and continue to sauté on high heat. Reduce heat to medium, add the onion, and cook until translucent or completely fried.

  • Add three and one half (3 1/2 c) cups of water and stir thoroughly. Boil for up to 13 minutes on low. Next, break up and add the pack of Maggi noodles.

  • Continue to boil the soup on low for an additional five minutes on low flame.
  • Once the soup is finished, add the coriander leaves and lime juice. The soup is now ready to serve.
